Butter Fish

Ingredients :    
Seer fish - 500gm
Bay leaves - 2
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Green chilies - split
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Melted butter - 2 tsp
Blend to smooth paste    
Red chilies - 5
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Fennel seeds - 2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 3 tsp
Ginger - 3 cm piece
Grated coconut - 3 tbsp
Tamarind - 1 lemon sized ball
Salt - to taste

Method :


Heat the gee in a pan, add bay leaves, split green chilies and the blended mixture. Fry till the oil begins to separate.

Add the fish pieces aslong with sugar and salt. Add little water and simmer it for a while.

Add the coconut milk, garam masala and bring to a boil.

Add melted butter before taking it off the fire.
