Preparation :
Heat a pan on medium heat and roast the sesame seeds till they turn light golden in colour. Turn off the heat and allow it to cool.
Heat ghee in a sauce pan on medium heat, add sugar, continuously stir and allow it to melt. Turn the heat to low and continue stirring until the sugar caramelizes.
Turn off the heat and immediately add and stir in the roasted sesame until well combined with the caramelized sugar.
While the mixture is hot, quickly spread it on to a greased pan and smoothen the surface with a flat spatula. Allow the mixture to cool completely allowing it to set.
When completely cool, cut the Til Chikki into desired shapes and serve as a healthy sweet for festivals.
