Cooking Method :
Lets begin by adding 2-3 tbsp of ghee in a thick bottom pan under medium flame. Once the ghee melts and turns piping hot, add cumin seeds and let them splutter. You can add a tsp of ginger garlic paste, stir constantly for a minute or two. Now you may pour 2-3 cups of tomato puree into the pan, it enhances the texture and sweetness of the curry. Mix well and let it boil. Add in the condiments such as salt and Garam masala followed by a cup of milk and cubed capsicum into the curry. Keep sautéing the mixture.. Further add cornflour mixed with water, to thicken the curry and finally, add sugar.
Once our Gravy is ready lets add the cubed paneer into the curry, cover with lid and simmer on low heat for approximately 4-5 minutes. Finally our Tomato Paneer is ready to serve.
Tomato Paneer is a simple and easy recipe which goes well as a good accompaniment with steamed rice, roti or Parathas. |
