Cooking Method :
Before we start lets grind some of the ingredients such as garlic, Onions and ginger into a fine paste... You may also blend cashew nuts into a fine powder for later use.
Lets place a heavy bottom pan on medium flame, add in 2-3 tbsp of oil and let it heat up. Add the formerly ground onion paste into the pan and sauté well. To this add a tsp of garlic and ginger paste. To avoid the ingredients from getting burned, add 1-2 tbsp of oil and sauté for around 6-7 minutes until the ingredients turn golden brown.
Now add garam masala, milk and salt, stir well and cook for around 2 to 3 minutes. Add fresh Cream into the pan and continue sautéing until the gravy thickens.
You may now add cubed paneer pieces into the gravy and let it boil. Put the formerly made cashew nut powder into the gravy to enhance the taste. Add in a bit of sugar for a tint of sweetness. Your Paneer in quick white gravy is ready to serve.
Paneer in quick white gravy goes well with rotis or butter nan and also with Veg pulao. |
