Cooking Method :
In a heavy bottomed saucepan heat 2 glasses of milk. Bring the milk to a boil and let it simmer for sometime. Now lets add 1-2 tbsp of Oats along with 2-3 tbsp of grated carrot and stir well, let it cook for 5-6 minutes. Give flavor to the Payasam by adding half tsp of cardamom powder along with 3-4 tbsp of honey and switch off.
Garnish the payasam with roasted nuts, and finally your oats payasam is ready to serve.
Oats payasam is an easy dessert recipe, which can be made within 15 minutes, and can be served warm or cold. |
