Method of Preparation :
In order to make paneer butter masala, first we have to slightly fry the paneer cubes.
Heat some oil in a pan and fry the paneer cubes lightly till they turn golden. Don’t over fry them, as they can turn hard at times. Now add some butter into the same oil. Splutter cumin seeds; add the ginger garlic paste, followed by chopped onions and sauté till they turn into a light brown shade. When the onions are done, add coriander powder, red chilly powder and garam masala. When they are done, add some salt and tomato puree into the pan and mix well till the oil separates from the puree. Toss in the paneer cubes and combine well, you can also pour some water into the mixture for more gravy. Now close the lid and let the paneer cook for some time. After about 5 minutes, open the lid and add the heavy cream into the pan. Here our paneer butter masala is ready to serve. Garnish with some coriander leaves and enjoy!! |
