Meera Vasudevan, model turned actress, made her
debut onto Bollywood with the film 'Rules : Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula'
(2003). The ebullient young lass who had featured in a couple of
ads like Reliance Mobile, Preethi Mixie etc, became extremely popular
after Om Cricketayo Namah rangoli advertisement during the World
Cup cricket. Meera was introduced into the southern films with the
Tamil movie 'Unnai Saran Adainthen'. This curly-haired, pixie-eyed
beauty won critical acclaim for her Malayalam debut venture 'Thanmatra'
and was named best debutant heroine for the same. The Mumbai-based
Tamilian girl, now settled in Chennai, got married to Vishal, son
of noted cinematographer Ashok Kumar.
