Kareena had two releases in the year 2006 'Omkara', and 'Don', one of the most awaited films of the year.

In Omkara, despite such powerhouses like Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan and Konkona Sen in the film, Kareena excels in an award-worthy performance. The love, innocence, bitterness etc- are all portrayed in correct measure. A mature performance after a long time.

And in 'Don' she might not have been able to recreate Helen's magic, but still she managed to make a mark in her own way.
