Great theme.... fascinating story telling with some surprising edges. The movie is one of the most captivating and revolutionary film ever to emerge from India, telling the untold story of Gandhi’s tragic relationship with his eldest son.

The film is nicely photographed in a style recalling 1950s Technicolor epics.
