Isha and Ronit start as friends but fall in love after Ronit rescues
her from a crocodile-infested island. Ronit tells his parents of his love.
This makes the friendly families become enemies. Ronit's uncle wants him
to marry the daughter of a rich businessman who will help further his
financial interests. Raj Puri also doesn't want Ronit to marry Isha. Rest
of the story, how Ronit and Isha work over the opposition is left to be
seen.
The more dominant thread of the film is the love story between Kareena
Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan. Isha, played by Kareena, is the most mature
of Raj's daughters. As usual Subhash Ghai the director of ther movie also
appears in a scene.
The film is totally based upon Hrithik. He portrays his character beautifully.
His dances,as always, is fantastic. Jackie Shroff, as a father who is
suddenly faced with bringing up his three motherless daughters, performed
his best. Everyone from Hrithik's parents to Jackie's daughters has commendably
done their job in the film. But the film loses its rhythm in the middle.
It would have been a masterpiece if the film was handled little more carefully.
The music, is good. The title song stay with us long after we leave
the theatre. The song 'Eli re eli' has an Indian touch, andthe song 'Jab
dil mile' is beautifully directed. The director has managed to keep audience
very close to his film with picturised songs. The film is made keeping
NRI's in mind.
The rating of the film is ok..
