But later, Radhe unknowingly saves Neerjara's sister from a dangerous
situation and makes enemies of the bad guys who were out to get her.
Neerjara comes to know of it from her fiancée Rameshwar ( Ravi Kissen)
and she slowly realises his worth and falls for him. She confesses her
feelings for him, but destiny would not let them be.. The guys from
whom Radhe had saved her sister seeks revenge and they bash him up and
leaves him unconscious. He has a serious head injury and looses his
mental balance...That forms the turning point in the story. .
The story has been narrated in a realistic manner though the pace suffers
at intervals, in the first half. The second half especially towards
the end is brilliant with an effective climax which is poignant. The
music is mediocre and although one or two numbers are good, one gets
a feel that there was no need for that many songs as pictured at regular
intervals in the first half. Cinematography is good and the action sequences
are well taken, some are really heavy. Technically the film is average
but there are several sequences which are brilliant.
Salman Khan has given an excellent performance perhaps one of the best
in his career. His emotional outbursts in the second half are heart
rending. His portrayal of the character turning into a vegetable and
the way he emotes with his eyes is commendable. Bhumika is a natural
and shows promise. The supporting cast of Ravi Kissen as Bhumika's fiancée,
Sachin Khedekar as her brother and Anang Desai as the doctor gives adequate
support. Mahima Chaudhary makes a special appearance in a dance number.
The movie is a must see for Salman's fans and for the rest here is
a action cum love story which is different with a tragic ending.
