Radha hardly spoke in the movie, but with her silence she successfully
portrayed her emotions. Jaya Bachchan gave an unparallel performance
as the character Radha.

Varma earlier considered
Katrina Kaif as his Radha, but there were rumours that Varma was
not too happy with Katrina’s diction and approached Sushmita
Sen to play the role. She is the widow, but instead of Radha, her
name is Devi in Ramu's Aag and she is not the daughter-in-law but
the sister-in-law, to Inspector Ranveer. |
