Veteran director Alfonso Cuaron brings energy, vision and new life
to the third Harry Potter film. He does an excellent job with the make
believe landscapes and events like flying broomsticks. The part-horse,
part-eagle creature called a Hippogriff introduced in Hagrid’s magical
animal class and the sequence of Harry riding it, is amazing. As a dazzling
story teller with an eye for detail, he has made this movie a visual
delight. The movie has more depth and life than the previous ones. Cuaron
has succeeded in transforming Rowling's text book fairy tale imagination
into a wonderful work of art, filled with stylish magical entertainment.
The lead characters trio, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma
Watson are growing at the same rate as their roles in the film. All
are loveable and likeable in their roles. They are outgrowing from their
childhood to teenagers and hopefully they will stay with the series
until it ends. New characters in this series include David Thewlis as
Professor Lupin and Gary Oldman as Sirius Black Thewlis as the professor
of defense against the Dark Arts and Gary Oldman as the murderer vs.
kind character are excellent. It is a great film and is filled with
magic which will be enjoyable for the young as well as the old alike.
Overall this third film of the series is a charm indeed.
We rate this film very Good.
