Straight stitch is mainly done separately and worked in a circle to form a flower. To start out with the straight stitch first draw lines with a pen so that the stitches would be straight and even. Bring the threaded needle to the front. 
Take the needle to the back at the end of the stitch and come up at the beginning of the next one. Repeat the process and complete your flower. |
