Procedure :
First take the red varnish paper and cut the paper in the shape of a petal.
Now to make the center or spadix of the anthurium, cut out a rectangle shaped crepe paper. Shade it with yellow crayon. Wrap the paper around a pencil. Now gently press the paper down from the top. Take the paper out of the pencil. You can see it is creased.
Secure its base with a copper wire.
Fix the spadix to the center of the petal using a thread.
Cover the rest of the wire using green tape.
Now to give a final touch to your flower, bend the petal a little to its back, to maintain its curvy edge.
Now your simple and beautiful anthurium flower is ready for arrangement. Make as many flowers as you want, and arrange it aesthetically in a vase. You can use an oasis as a base to fix your flowers. It will help to keep the flowers in place. |
