House Boat Rides (Kettuvallam)

These traditional boats used to transport rice and other supplies have now been re-designed to provide luxurious accommodation for tourists. 

KTDC offers full day and half day canal tours to experiance the beauty of Kerala backwaters, flora, fauna, village life through Kettuvallam and country boats (Open canao) with traditional Kerala lunch.

Full day back water canal tour
Timings : 8.30 am to 6.30 pm
Rate : Rs. 650/- per head (subject to change)

Trip Covers : Coir rope making, toddy tapping, village handicrafts, mat weaving, spices and medicinal plants etc.
Half day back water canal tour (Two Trips)
First Tour : 8.30 am to 1.00 pm
Second Tour : 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm
Rate : Rs. 350/- per head (subject to change)
