Nagarhole (Rajiv Gandhi) National Park is situated 93 Km south west of
Mysore, between Kodagu and Mysore districts. This park was established
in 1954. The forest covered with valuable teak and rosewood trees and
the Kabini River which flows through it provide a perfect habitat for
many wild animals and birds. The 'Kuruban' (honey gatherers) tribes and
various other tribes live here. For accommodation and transport
