Bangalore's busiest and crowded Commercial Street is one of the oldest areas in the Cantonment area with lots of shopping spots. Among the variety of shops located here, majority are filled with garments, hosiery and textiles. Apart from these, one can also shop for stationery, art supplies, sports good, shoes, novelties, jewellery, general good and travel kits. Depending on the whim of the salesman or the appearance of the customer, prices are subject to change. Bargaining may reduce the prize to one third from what it was first quoted. The place also has some fine restaurants and ice cream shops.
