Venkatappa Art Gallery situated adjacent to the Government museum is named after the renowned artist K. Venkatappa. The gallery which exhibits about 600 paintings, sculptures and wood carvings is a pleasant treat for the art lovers. Works of artists like M. F. Hussain, Vasudev, Hanumaiah, Hariram, Rekha Rao etc are displayed here.
