Karna Lake is a beautifully landscaped situated on the National Highway No.1 at Karnal district, 160kms from Gurgon. This is a well-known place, which commemorates the epic hero of Mahabharatha- Karna. This vast circular lake is decorated with a central island.  The dark foliage on this island is the home of a wide variety of birds like cormorant, geese, ducks, swans, kingfishers etc. Boating facilities in both rowing and paddle boats are available. For halting at Karna lake, motels are available with facilities like air-conditioned rooms, restaurant, bar, conference and banquet halls.
