Karnavati Museum is owned and maintained
by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and is housed in the famous Sanskar
Kendra. The objects on display include ancient coins, pottery remains,
land documents, Urdu and Devnagari scripts, carved wood elements and frescos
from traditional houses, sculpture, ancient paintings, brocade, Chinese
embroidery, carpets, garments of royal families, antique cameras and camera
equipment. An ideal place to study different features of religion like
Jainism, Hinduism, Christianity, Zoroastrianism, Jewism, Sikhism, Vaishnavism
and Islam the museum is open from 10.30am to 6.00pm daily except on Mondays
when the museum remains closed.
