Assam Forest Museum situated at South Kamrup in Guwahati, Assam has a wide collection of timber, ivory works, lacquer works, medicinal herbs, bamboo, cane, elephant tusks, rhino horns and models of bridges and buildings. The museum opens from 10 am- 4 pm on weekdays and closed on Sunday.On Saturdays the museum closes at 1 pm.
