Popular as the handsome model with the angry looks, Himanshu Malik, stormed the fashion industry when he modeled for Vimal suiting and Raymonds. He participated in innumerable fashion shows and was noticed in late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s famous  video 'Afreen' with Lisa Ray and in Sonu Nigam's 'Deewana' with Gulpanag. These videos set foot for his entry into the world of Hindi cinema. His debut as an actor was in 'Tum Bin' (2001) along with three other  newcomers. His work in the film was appreciated. Then came 'Khwaish' in 2003 opposite Mallika Sherawat where he played the leading man. The movie was a hit because of unbridled sensuality and there was no looking back. He loves adventurous sports like paragliding, flying and scuba diving, and has started a paragliding school near Delhi.
