Another comedy
produced and acted by Dileep and directed by Rafi -Mecartin.
The theme is very similar to recent releases which involves a
Tamil village and the ensuing trouble and the inevitable settlement...
Dileep plays
Bhuvanachandran who has big dreams but is struggling to
survive. He starts a small real estate business, but always
lands in trouble with his deals. Once, he lands a very
lucrative deal, 30 acres of land in a Tamil Nadu village at a
very down to earth price. He even borrows money from a money
lender (Ummachan) to buy the land, thinking that he could sell
it later at a higher price. But when he goes to this village
Karuvilangadu, he finds out that he was conned by the seller.
The land which has enough water to provide for farming in the
village is a matter of dispute between two landlords
Karuppuswamy (Rajan P Dev) and
Pandidurai (Prakashraj) who have sworn to kill the person who
buys this land. More over Pandidurai has a gang of goons
locally known as Pandippada, backing him.
Bhuvan
meets his former partner cum friend Bhasi ( Harisree Asokan) in the
village and they think of a plan to get back the land. Bhavan approaches
Pandidurai without revealing his identity and slowly wins over the ruthless
man and his mother ( Sukumari). Soon he gets into the goodbooks of both
Pandidurai and Kuruppuswamy. KuruppuSwamy's only daughter Meena (Navya
Nair), falls in love with Bhuvan. Pandidurai loves the girl and wants
to marry her. Bhuvan uses the situation to his advantage and act as
the mediator between the two. Watch the film to find out whether he
succeeds to get back his land..
The film is a total
comedy with plenty of hilarious sequences. The pace is fast
and smooth and never slow. Music by Suresh Peters is apt for
the theme and cinematography by Saloo George is good. The only
flaw is that there is nothing new with the theme, which is
very similar to that of the earlier films by the Director duo.
Dileep as Bhuvan is
good as always in his comical role. He with his fellow
comedians, Harisree Asokan, Salim Kumar, Cochin Haneefa brings
the house down with their comic one liners. But it is Prakash
Raj who steals the show with his perfect comic timing. The
rest of the cast including Navya Nair, Sukumari, Ambika, Rajan
P Dev etc give adequate support.
Overall the film is
a thorough entertainer worth watching for its fun..
