Salman takes a liking for Rani, but as soon as he begins wooing her
trouble starts. He gets into all kinds of wrong situations with her
father and to make matters worse, more trouble lands in the form of
his room mate Sunny ( Akshaye Kumar). Sameer's astrologer friend ( Rajpal
Yadav) warns him it's the beginning of his doom.
Sunny makes Sameer's life miserable with his high handed tricks. He
tries to woo Rani away from Sameer, and goes to great lengths to do
it. Rani's father has a number of accidents and though he doesn't mean
it, Sameer turns out to be indirectly responsible. Moreover his manipulative
roommate Sunny makes sure that Sameer is always found in incomprehensible
situations. Sameer at last entrusts an aunt to reveal his true feelings
and the truth about Sunny to Priyanka. That too fails when his aunt
who is half blind looses her spectacle and reveals his love to the wrong
person, not Priyanka but her mother. This again brings the wrath of
the colonel on him. Totally dejected Sameer decides to leave Goa for
good... Will Sameer be able to clear himself? Find out for yourself
in this crazy entertainer.
The director has succeeded in creating a feel good entertainer though
originality is far fetched. Any way we cant expect originality in a
David Dhawan film. Technically, editing is flawless and visuals shot
in Dubai and Mauritius are striking. Music is okay and choreography
by Farah Khan is good. Performance wise both Salman and Akshaye have
done their roles well. This pair has perfect comic timing and complement
each other very well. Amrish Puri as the colonel has also left a mark
with his role. Priyanka is okay. Besides a number of crazy characters
the director has also pitched in a few cricketers in the final sequence.
Overall the movie is a masala entertainer which will make you laugh
and will appeal to the masses.
