Most Indian television stars are set to let their hair down on New Year
eve. And in 2007 they plan to improvise on their work, equip themselves
with new skills and get rid of bad habits.
1. Nigaar Khan will be partying with friends on New Year eve. Nigaar,
who is Barnali in "Kasamh Se" serial, says: "My resolution
is to use my money intelligently and get rid of some of my bad habits."
2. Amit Verma, Rishabh Lamba in "Viraasat", is attending
a private party with close friends. "I plan to involve myself in
other activities like kick boxing, and salsa next year," he says.
3. Kanchi Kaul will spend the evening with close friends. "I don't
make New Year resolutions but I hope this year will bring more work,
happiness and leisure," says the Ananya of "Ek Ladki Anjaani
Si".
4. Tarun Khanna has plans to drive down to Lonavala or party with friends.
"My resolution is to stay healthy and maintain a good healthy diet
throughout the year," says Tarun, who is Sameer in "Kabhi
Aaye Na Judaai".
5. Siddharth Kannan is compering an event in Bangalore and will be
spending time with his parents who stay there. "My New Year resolution
is to ensure that my dear friend Baba Sehgal stops wearing his rainbow
coloured wigs. I also plan to learn Kung Fu to protect myself from getting
beaten up by women all the time," says the "Santa and Banta
Unlimited" actor.
6. Additi Shirwaikar will attend a friend's wedding on New Year eve.
The "Dulhan Banu Main Teri" actor says: "My resolution
is to learn swimming and driving because I have always been scared of
water and driving too for some strange reason."
7. Romit Raj has planned a quiet New Year with family and relatives
at home. "My resolution is to stay in peace," says Romit,
who plays Yuvraaj in "Betiyaan".
8. Sooraj Thapar plans to spend the day with children at an ashram.
"My resolution is to do better work and be choosy on what shall
work in the future," says the Saxena of "Shree Sifarishilal".
