Parippu Vada

Ingredients:    


Tuar Dal or Vada dal

- 1 cup 

shallots chopped

- 1/2 cup

Green Chili

- 3

Dried Red Chili

- 2  

Ginger

- ¾ tbsp 

Curry Leaves

- 1 sprig
Salt to taste 
   
Oil for deep frying    

Preparation

  Soak the tuar dal for at least 2 hours. Drain the water completely. Grind the dal,red chilli to a coarse paste without adding water.Mince the onion, ginger and curry leaves. Mix everything together. 
Heat the oil. Make patties and drop into the hot oil. Cook until the vada is  golden brown. Remove from the oil to a paper napkin.
