Three types of
French fries are given here, namely McDonald’s
fries, The Englishman’s fries and Wedged Fries. The shape and the style of
cutting is different for the three fries.
McDonald’s
fries
These fries will be thin, crispy and golden. Peel the potatoes.
Cut all the sides of the round potato until it gets the shape of a cube. Cut the
cube into thin and flat slices. Again cut the thin slice to get long
strips.
The Englishman’s French fries
The Englishman’s Fish and
Chips- fries will be thicker than the Mc Donald's. It tastes great with malt vinegar and
salt. To make the Englishman’s fish fries, cut the potato into cube size and
then slice it again to get 3-4 thick pieces.
Wedged French Fries Cut the peeled potato into half. Again slice vertically
to
get 2-3 chunk pieces.
Frying Heat the oil in a pan and add the sliced potatoes and fry
till it becomes golden and crispy. Remove the fried potatoes from the pan
and let the excess oil to drain. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
