Cherai Beach

25 Kms from the mainland Ernakulam, Cherai is a long stretch beach with beautiful sand and coconut trees.  It takes 40 minutes from Vypeen to the beach. The place is a unique combination of sea and backwaters rimmed by lush green coconut palms and paddy fields. The 15 km long golden beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Kerala.

	It is a neat and clean beach. The place has many resorts, hotels ranging from affordable to the luxurious near the vicinity of the beach.
