Air : Goa Panjim Dabolim Airport located
about 105 km away is the nearest air port to Karwar city. One could hire
a taxi or take a bus to reach there. All the major Indian cities are well
connected to Goa by Indian Airlines and Jet Airways flights.
Rail : The city has its own railway station
situated 8 km away from its bus station. Karwar is connected to major
Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Mangalore etc by Konkan railway.
Road: All the major cities of the state
and nation is connected to Karwar through its good Road network. It has
bus services to and from Bangalore that is 520 km away from the city and
Mangalore, which is 273 km away. One could also hire auto rickshaws and
cycle rickshaws for local transportation. Night deluxe bus service is
also available at karwar.
