Florida Metropolitan University (FMU) is one of the largest private universities in Florida committed to providing quality education that will give students the skills necessary to enter today's competitive and rewarding workforce. The nine campuses were organized as FMU in 1995. The university began its venture into online learning in the winter quarter of 1999 by offering five courses on two campuses. After our initial pilot phase, FMU expanded its online course offerings to include all nine FMU campuses for the winter quarter of 2000.
