Institution Details: | Capitol's online presents classes in real-time using Centra One Internet conferencing software which help deliver live classes and provide group-learning experiences in one integrated browser-based delivery environment. All class sessions are recorded so that students who are unable to attend a session may review the recorded information at a later date. Capitol currently offers six undergraduate computer certificates and three undergraduate management certificates entirely online. They also offer four bachelor's degree-completion programs online in computer science, telecommunications engineering technology, software and Internet applications, and management of information technology and six graduate certificate programs and three Master of Science degree programs fully online with live audio interactive classrooms. Course(s) Offered: | 1. Computer Certificate Courses The courses required for these certificates are offered online in an accelerated 8-week format and on-campus in a standard 16-week format. Consult the schedule of classes for more information.
Eligibility : All certificates require students to have completed MA-110 Business Math or MA-114 Algebra and Trigonometry or its equivalent experience. 2. Management Certificate Courses Eligibility : All certifications require either College Math with Business Applications (MA-110) or Algebra and Trigonometry (MA-114)
Courses offered are Certificate in Personnel Management, Certificate in Financial Management and Certificate in Operations Management 3. Bachelor of Science Degree Completion Computer Science, Management of Information Technology, Software and Internet Applications, Telecommunications Engineering Technology are the Online BS Degree Completion Programs at Capitol College. Students must complete a minimum of 40 semester hours including 20 hours in the applicable major to satisfy the degree requirements for Capitol College. The last 15 credit hours of a student's degree must be through courses conducted by Capitol College. 4. Graduate Certificates The Graduate certificate programs offered in the university are for Acquisition / Project Management, Client-Server and Wireless Devices, Component Technologies and Online Collaboration, Electronic Commerce, Global Telecommunications Systems, Information Technology, Network Protection, Security Management 5. Master of Science in Information Architecture Eligibility : Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or the equivalent or must be completing a bachelor's degree or the equivalent prior to enrollment. Some programs require specific undergraduate course work.
The MSIA is a thirty credit hour degree program that consists of ten graduate courses designed to appeal to the target market by requiring a minimum number of credit hours for a graduate degree.
6. Master of Science in Information & Telecommunications Eligibility : Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or the equivalent or must be completing a bachelor's degree or the equivalent prior to enrollment. Some programs require specific undergraduate course work.
A total of 36 semester hours is required including electives and transfer credits. A student may begin the program in any one of the six terms or three semesters during the academic year.
7. Master of Science in Electronic Commerce Management Eligibility : Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree or the equivalent or must be completing a bachelor's degree or the equivalent prior to enrollment. Some programs require specific undergraduate course work.
MSECM is a 36 credit hour degree program that consists of twelve courses geared around conducting business at-a-distance.
