National Institute of Bank Management, Pune

Post-Graduate Programme in Banking and Finance, Admission 2009 – 2011 (Batch)
Applications on the prescribed form are invited for admission to One Year Post-Graduate Programme in Banking and Finance (PGPBF) for academic session 2009-10. NIBM is recognized by the University of Pune as an approved Centre for Post-Graduate Research and by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, GOI, under the scheme of Scientific and Industrial Research Organizations. 
 
Sale of Prospectus and Application Forms : 8th August-28th November 2008
Date for CAT(conducted by IIMs) : 16th November 2008
Last Date for Receiving Duly filled in Application Forms at NIBM : 4th December 2008
Group Discussion and Personal Interview : February/ March 2009
Declaration of Results : Within 14 days of GDPI
Payment of First Installment of Fees : Within 3 weeks from date of offer of admission
 

Eligibility :

At least a three-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE as eligible for Post-Graduate Studies in Management. Students expecting to complete their degree examination by June 2008 may also apply

Admission Procedure:

All candidates seeking admission to the above programme should appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs. The CAT Bulletin with application form has to be purchased from select branches of State Bank of India all over the country.

[Note : CAT is used for short-listing candidates who apply for admission to NIBM. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the Programme]

Apply to NIBM by filling a separate application form, furnishing CAT Reg. No. and Centre No.

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores will be called for Group Discussion and Interview for final selection during February/ March 2009.

Accommodation will be arranged for the selected students.

Request for Prospectus, Application Form and Other Information : 

Request should be accompanied with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of ‘National Institute of Bank Management’, and payable at Pune. The request should specify the name of the candidate, mailing address, e-mail ID and telephone number.
