Watson Museum
The Watson Museum is located centrally in Jubilee Gardens in the Memorial
Institute Buildings and commemorates the life and times of Colonel John
Watson. The display at the museum inaugurated in 1888, includes silverware,
pieces of Mohenjodaro artifacts, carvings from 13th century, exhibits
of natural history, textiles, handicrafts, pottery, princely relics and
a huge marble statue of Queen Victoria. Click

Rotary Midtown Doll's Museum
It is a Dolls Museum with more than 1500 dolls from more than 95 countries.
The museum gives a sneak peek into the various cultures and traditions
of the world through the medium of dolls. The Rotary clubs across the
world have generously donated dolls to this museum. The vision of such
a museum was conceived by Rotarian Mr Deepak Agrawal in 2001.
The dolls are displayed in Theme Showcases which depict
settings of the countries from which these dolls hail and each showcase
also bears the flag of the country from which the doll has been sent.
Besides dolls, the museum also maintains permanent archives of documents
related to the dolls for the study and enjoyment of members and for public
viewing. Each showcase has on its side a write up about the unique cultural
and traditional information about the dolls.

Lang Library
Lang Library is one of the oldest libraries in Saurashtra. The library
was started in 1856 AD in the name of 'Gungrahak Mandali'. Later, in 1864
AD it was shifted to its own independent building in Kothi compound area
and in 1893 the library started functioning form the building in Jubilee

Shreyas Folk Museum
It is about 2.5km west of Sabarmati in the suburb of Ambavadi, displays
the folk arts and crafts of Gujarat. It is open daily from 9am to noon,
and 3 to 5 pm except Wednesday.
Utensils Museum
There's curious collection of cooking utensils in this museum. Items
include nutcrackers, knives, cooking vessels and various other utensils.
The museum is open daily from 10.30 pm.
NC Mehta Museum of Miniatures
It has excellent examples of the various schools of Indian miniature
painting. The building was designed by Le Corbusier, the famous architect.
Open Tuesday to Saturday from 9 to 11am and 4 to 7pm.

Hussain-Doshi's Gufa
Located in the campus of the centre for Environment Planning and Technology,
this gallery houses the collaborative efforts of artist M.F. Hussain and
architect B.V. Doshi where art and architecture fuse together and complement
each other magnificently.
Institute of Indology
Located near the Gujarat University campus, the museum has an important
collection of illustrated manuscripts and miniatures and one of the finest
collections relating to Jainism in India. It is open daily from 11.30
am to 5.30pm except Sunday.

Baroda Museum
Baroda Museum has impressive collections of art and archeology, natural
history, geology and ethnology. The adjoining art gallery has great collection
of European old masters, Veronese, Giordano, Zurbaran, some Flemish and
Dutch school paintings, Turner and Constable, a collection of Mughal miniatures
and valuable palm-leaf manuscripts of Buddhist and Jain origin. Click
